Primary Function
The Sr. Retail Recruiter is responsible for recruitment for the Retail business unit, including, but not limited to phone screening, scheduling interviews, interviewing, evaluating candidates, and presenting offers. This role has the ability to partner with hiring managers to build and maintain relationships, while sourcing the best candidate for the position and the company. Principal Duties
Manage the entire recruitment process; sourcing candidates, qualifying, screening, interviewing, follow ups and offer extension.
Build recruiting pipeline to attract top talent and maintain an engaged qualified candidate pool.
Partner with Joint Venture presidents to develop a recruiting strategy for their JV and their geographic locations.
Maintain engaged pipeline of qualified candidates for the following positions Loan Officers, Area Sales Managers, Branch Managers, Loan Officer assistants, and other support positions.
Manage requisitions within ATS system. Confirm all information is correct.
Utilize Salesforce, ATS, LinkedIn and other resources to source qualified candidates.
Act as the liaison between the Hiring Manager and candidate during the offer process. Generate offer within ATS and present to candidate. Act as point of contact during onboarding process.
Meet monthly hiring goals set by Manager
Provide weekly recruiting updates to Joint Venture presidents
Ensure Newrez and its hiring managers are making the best hiring decision for the candidate, the department and overall company.
Leverage Joint Venture partnerships to create new recruiting networks in the industry
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Five (5) or more years’ of mortgage sales recruiting experience required
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
Previous experience utilizing an ATS (application tracking system), Workday and Salesforce preferred.
Experience with LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter, indeed, required.
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
Knowledge of mortgage industry- specific to originations
Strong recruitment skills pertaining to sourcing, cold calling, and networking techniques.
