About the job Our client is seeking a results-driven and self-motivated Senior Sales Representative to join its Sales Department in El Segundo, California. This role will focus on supporting the Tamaki Rice department.
Responsibilities
In this exempt-level position, you'll manage and grow sales for the Tamaki Rice brand. You'll be the primary point of contact for new and existing customers, ensuring high-level service and building lasting relationships. Your core responsibilities will include:
Sales Strategy & Execution : Work with the department manager to develop and execute short, mid, and long-term sales strategies. Lead sales activities, including customer visits and calls.
Customer Relationship Management : Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing customers. Provide exceptional customer service by managing orders, resolving issues, and responding to inquiries promptly.
Market Analysis : Conduct in-depth market and product research to understand customer needs and analyze competitor trends, including pricing, packaging, and product design.
Data Analysis & Reporting : Compile, generate, and analyze sales and shipment data to create weekly, monthly, and yearly reports. Support the department manager with budget and forecast planning.
Logistics & Finance : Coordinate logistics, monitor daily transactions, and ensure timely collection of account receivables.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has a strong sales background and is passionate about building relationships and driving growth. You are a problem-solver with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual : You are fluent in both English and Japanese.
Experience : You have 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the food industry.
Education : You hold a bachelor’s degree.
Skills : You have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Bonus : You have a knowledge and appreciation for Japanese and Asian food products.
