Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Sales Manager to support and grow our network of OEM partners and direct dealers within the marine electronics industry. This role bridges deep technical knowledge with strategic sales capabilities, delivering tailored solutions, product expertise, and long-term value to our customers.
As a key customer-facing leader, the Sr. Technical Sales Manager will work closely with current and prospective accounts—advising, educating, and supporting them throughout the sales cycle and product lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings both commercial acumen and a solid technical foundation in marine electronics, acting as a trusted advisor to our clients and an integral liaison to internal teams.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Serve as the primary technical sales contact for OEMs and direct dealer accounts. Understand and analyze customer needs to recommend effective solutions based on our product portfolio Deliver engaging product presentations, demos, and technical documentation to support the sales process. Provide hands-on product guidance, troubleshooting, and post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and success. Cultivate and manage strong, long-term customer relationships with a focus on trust, value, and technical insight. Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development. Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in marine electronics. Represent the company at trade shows, customer visits, and technical seminars as a subject matter expert. Develop account plans and contribute to the forecasting and strategic growth of the OEM and dealer network. Support internal sales training initiatives by sharing product knowledge, market insights, and field feedback. Job Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably within marine electronics or related industries. Proven track record of working with OEM and dealer networks. Strong understanding of marine systems, navigation equipment, and installation practices. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into business value. Ability to travel as required to support customer engagements and trade events. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
