Role summary

Vivienne Westwood is looking for a hybrid back-of-house/front-of-house role that keeps stock flowing, the floor full, and clients welcomed. You'll process shipments, maintain accurate inventory, replenish quickly, support sales during peak traffic, and jump in for events.

This will be a Part time role (3 days) on a three month Fixed Term Contract. This position is based in our New York Boutique.

Key responsibilities Assist management with weekly cycle counts and annual physical inventory; investigate variances. Receive, verify, ticket/label incoming product; process outgoing shipments (including boxing and FEDEX drop-off as needed). Maintain stockroom organization/cleanliness and accurate bin locations; ensure the selling floor and back stock are full and sized. Execute markdowns/price changes, store transfers/RTV, damages/defectives. Greet clients on entry; thank on exit; answer basic product/location questions and professionally manage calls (screen/transfer). Act as a runner for the sales team during peaks (pulls, go-backs) and cover basic selling tasks when directed by management. Maintain brand-appropriate presentation and support visual/promo set-ups as needed. Follow receiving, key control, and back-door standards; adhere to equipment and safety procedures, dispose of packaging properly. Qualifications Organized, fast, and detail-oriented, strong communication and phone etiquette. Experience with inventory/POS systems and handheld scanners preferred; willing to learn. Able to lift up to ~50 lb (23 kg), move boxes with a hand truck, and work on ladders; stand/walk for extended periods. Reliable availability for shipment processing, events, weekends, holidays; professional demeanour at all times
