Store Sales Associate Lead As a Store Sales Associate Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store. You will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales to achieve store targets. Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: - Supervise and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support. - Schedule and assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient store operations. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. - Assist in training new sales associates and fostering a positive work environment.
Customer Service: - Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. - Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers, ensuring a personalized shopping experience. - Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and escalate when necessary. - Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed.
Sales and Target Achievement: - Drive sales by actively engaging with customers and promoting products. - Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets. - Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities for improvement. - Collaborate with the store manager to develop strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management: - Assist in receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise. - Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in stock management. - Ensure accurate pricing and labeling of products.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in retail management is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years old with valid work authorization
- Available to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends
- The role involves physical tasks such as lifting objects up to 40 lbs., standing for extended periods the entire shift, pushing, pulling, bending, requiring good physical fitness.
- Proven experience in a retail sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
