Own the lifecycle of complex structural and miscellaneous steel projects Picture your day: you open with a deep dive into drawings and specifications, translating them into buildable scopes and competitive numbers. By midday, you’re negotiating with fabricators and suppliers to lock in pricing and availability. In the afternoon, you’re on-site, aligning the field team, reinforcing safety practices, and making real-time calls on schedule and cost. You close the day rebalancing budgets and timelines, communicating updates to clients and partners so everyone moves forward together.
As the primary liaison among our company, our clients, and construction teams, you set the tone for collaboration and clarity. You will champion a safety-first mindset while exercising the authority to make critical decisions on cost, schedule, and field operations to keep work on track and to standard.
What you will leadEstimating Develop accurate, competitive estimates for structural steel scopes.
Evaluate drawings, specifications, and related documents to build comprehensive bids.
Detail material, labor, and equipment costs with precision.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to validate pricing and confirm material availability.
Implement efficient procedures that drive timely buyout, shop drawing approvals, and on-schedule material deliveries.
Project Management Plan, coordinate, and execute structural steel construction activities end-to-end.
Deliver projects on time, on budget, and at the required quality.
Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction partners to meet specifications.
Track progress, forecast impacts, and adjust plans to protect the schedule and cost.
Conduct routine site visits to verify safety compliance and adherence to requirements.
Field Leadership Provide hands-on supervision and direction on active job sites.
Diagnose and resolve issues that arise during installation and erection.
Ensure all work satisfies applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Coach and mentor junior team members and field crews to elevate performance.
Capture detailed daily reports documenting activities, progress, and challenges.
Client Relations Build enduring relationships, respond to concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
Serve as the client’s primary point of contact through the entire project lifecycle.
Lead post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and drive improvements.
What you bring Proven experience managing structural and miscellaneous steel projects from inception through closeout.
Strong background in estimating and field operations within the structural steel industry.
Exceptional analytical skills and deep knowledge of construction processes.
