Our outreach directly supports Studio Theatre's highest standard of artistic excellence, as well as their transformative education and community programs. Help us promote an incredible upcoming season featuring The Heart Sellers by Lloyd Suh about two immigrants finding friendship, Paula Vogel's Pulitzer Prize-winning Mother Play: A Play in Five Evictions, Dave Malloy's unique a cappella chamber musical Octet about digital dependency, the buzzworthy Jonah by Rachel Bonds, and Ossie Davis's classic Purlie Victorious- and we're looking to hire those who have the passion and conviction required for success.
We are currently recruiting remote/work from home Subscription Sales Representatives for Studio Theatre .
Job Profile:
Calling past donors/subscribers/patrons of Studio Theatre to sell subscription ticket packages to the season
Part-Time: minimum of 16 hours per week required (4 full shifts)
Shift schedule: Mon-Thu 4-8 pm and Fri-Sat 11-3 pm EST
No cold calling- - all leads are generated by Studio Theatre and made up of prior/lapsed donors/subscribers/patrons
Fully remote/WFH- - all calling is done virtually through your laptop/computer
Receiving feedback/coaching from your Manager is to be expected; calls are monitored for quality assurance and productivity
Requirements:
MUST be knowledgeable and passionate about theatre and the performing arts
a successful sales and/or fundraising background, with the ability to consistently close "sales" and raise money.
You must have a computer or laptop (with the most recent version of Google Chrome) and a headset or headphones, along with an excellent internet connection.
An ability to follow directions and read from a script.
Computer savvy, with proficiency in multiple software/platforms; you must also be able to solve/troubleshoot any potential equipment or internet connectivity issues on the fly
Persistent, diligent work ethic; self-motivated, while being a team player
High-quality customer service attitude.
MUST be working from one of the following states: NY, NJ, CT, MA, IL, or CA
Compensation:
Base hourly rate of $15/hr plus commission (3% of every sale)
Top Performers usually make between $20-$25+ per hour every week
