Technical Inside Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation
We are seeking a driven and technically skilled Technical Inside Sales Engineer to join our sales team. This role bridges the gap between technical product knowledge and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate will provide pre- and post-sales support, understand our product, and offer solutions tailored to technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Product & Application Support: Assist customers in selecting the right products for their applications, including signaling, safety, status indication, and networked monitoring solutions. Offer basic troubleshooting for integration issues and help ensure successful product deployment.  Provide documentation and technical resources to support installation and commissioning
Technical Sales Support: Respond to inbound technical inquiries, and offer guidance on integration with control systems (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, IIoT platforms).
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with outside sales, distributors, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure accurate and timely support for projects and opportunities.
Training & Education: Provide product training to internal teams and customers, including demos and technical overviews of our solutions.
Documentation & Standards: Assist in maintaining accurate technical resources and ensure solutions comply with relevant industrial and safety standards
Qualifications:
Required:
Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical experience).
3+ years of experience in application engineering, automation support, or technical sales
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand customer challenges in manufacturing environments.
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with our products or similar visual/audible signaling solutions.
Basic understanding of control panel design, machine safety, and factory networking.
Basic CAD literacy or experience with control panel layouts and wiring diagrams
