Technical Inside Sales Representative Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Inside Sales Representative specializing in valves and automation products. In this role, you will serve as a vital contact for customers, providing expert technical support, managing accounts, and ensuring efficient order processing. Your efforts will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and support the growth of our industrial solutions business. This position is based onsite in Saint Louis, MO, and offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical expertise and foster strong client relationships. Technical Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with assigned customer accounts. Handle customer inquiries promptly via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate technical information. Manage the processing of customer orders through internal systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and logistics, to expedite orders and resolve issues efficiently. Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge of valves, actuators, and flow control equipment through ongoing training. Provide support by delivering technical guidance, product updates, and solution options tailored to customer needs. Track and follow up on account activities to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Technical Inside Sales Representative Position Requirements: 2–5 years of inside sales or customer service experience, preferably within an industrial or technical environment. Familiarity with valves, actuators, or automation products is highly desirable. Permanent U.S. work authorization is necessary. Onsite presence in Saint Louis, MO required.
