PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to understand customer technical requirements and provide customized solutions based on the existing or future Fortress product portfolio.
Responsible for building trust-based relationships with clients through technical expertise and effectively communicating the Cyclops setting tool program’s reliability.
Prepare and present Fortress’ product presentations and product demonstrations skills tailored to completions engineers, service contractor operations management, and frac plug sales staff.
Clearly communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in Fortress customer’s offices.
Ability to support field trials, product testing, and customer evaluations.
Motivated to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, R&D, and operations teams.
Accurately and consistently work within CRM and pipeline management tools for accurate sales forecasting.
Consistently demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address client challenges with innovative solutions.
Assist with proposal writing and solution selling, demonstrating the ability to translate technical features into measurable commercial successes.
Maintain an awareness of competitor technologies and value propositions and consistently communicate that market intelligence across the Fortress organization.
Play a part in root cause analysis investigations, preparing reports, and presenting those reports to the customer.
Assist with developing and publishing both monthly and annual global forecasts for Fortress customer accounts by product line.
Make regular wellsite visits to evaluate and record Fortress’ product performance.
Actively travel (planned and unplanned, as needed) to learn about in-basin customer’s evolving operational needs, monitor testing/performance, provide internal and external product training, and to help address any customer concerns with Fortress products.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or any equivalent University technical degree).
+10 years of Oil and Gas experience, US frac experience is preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of US frac operations, completions tools, and setting tool technologies is preferred.
Excellent existing service contractor and oil company relationships
Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills to include the ability to provide group presentations in a seminar environment.
Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Valid US driver’s license and safe driving history.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Maintain certification to operate NOV company vehicles.
Capability to pass all Operator HSE requirements / training as a prerequisite to visiting their wellsites.
Significant domestic travel may be required.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Working understanding of oilfield equipment design, assembly, and testing.
Familiarity with frac industry technical standards, specifications, and certification processes.
General knowledge of technical proposal preparation and tendering processes un the US frac market.
