Technical Sales Representative

Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct sales of custom engineered products to both current and potential customers.
Develop new sales areas by identifying potential customers, establishing connections, and cultivating business relationships.
Introduce products and provide technical support for the ever-growing list of items offered.
Collaborate with engineers in product research, design, and development.
Serve as a liaison for new customers and projects from design to delivery, managing timelines to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Research and follow the latest in industry trends, both local and international, and create new opportunities for viable income streams.
Qualifications:
3-5 years sales experience
OEM Sales Experience preferred
Knowledge of the marine industry at the OEM manufacturer, distributor, dealer, and retail levels
Previous titles in marine industry sales or technical sales, program manager, program engineer, product manager or engineering manager
Strong mechanical aptitude required
Experience regarding marine engine components, internal combustion engine knowledge, propulsion systems and rigging skills a plus
