About the Role: As a Temporary Retail Sales Associate, you will provide outstanding customer service during point of sale and customer service interactions. Your focus will be on delivering efficient operations while ensuring a great customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Greet and engage customers, offering assistance with products and services. Operate the cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle different forms of payment accurately. Follow company guidelines to execute point of sale and customer service standards, providing friendly and efficient service. Meet or exceed individual goals, such as credit and loyalty targets. Support inventory accuracy through diligent completion of point of sale and merchandise processes. Assist in training new hires on best practices and point of sale procedures while upholding Kohl's brand standards. Participate in daily service processes including register and cash balancing as well as replenishing supplies. Expectations: Act with integrity and honesty, promoting teamwork in an inclusive environment. Show good judgment and decision-making skills, consulting with supervisors as needed. Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset, anticipating needs and resolving issues effectively. Juggle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Adhere to company policies and safety standards. Required Skills: Excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills. At least 16 years of age. Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in client-facing retail or service industries is a plus.
