You will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers at Kirkland's Home. Collaborate with our management team to drive sales growth through engaging with customers, maintaining store operations, and driving merchandising initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding customer service both in-store and online. Engage actively with customers and showcase exemplary selling behaviors. Greet each customer with enthusiasm and maintain a positive attitude throughout your shift. Read customer cues and respond appropriately to their needs. Educate customers on loyalty programs, current promotions, and product selections to help them maximize their shopping experience. Uphold the company’s values by treating customers and co-workers with respect and professionalism. Meet or exceed sales goals tied to company initiatives. Assist with merchandise receipt, ensuring timely and efficient stocking. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and stockroom. Support effective merchandising, pricing, and inventory accuracy. Qualifications: Energetic and people-oriented with a strong drive to succeed. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours based on store needs. Able to comprehend company directives, handbooks, and manuals. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Capable of using a ladder to retrieve and stock products or hang displays. Frequent standing and moving around the store to assist customers is required. Ability to communicate with customers in various ways—face-to-face, electronically, and over the phone. Must be able to lift and move merchandise weighing 50 pounds or more. Experience operating Point of Sale systems and registers efficiently and accurately.
