Summary:
Our client is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join their team! This role is responsible for driving in-home elevator sales performance by building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, managing job sites to ensure quality and compliance, and promoting company products through various sales channels.
Responsibilities:
Meet with existing customers, including residential contractors, builders, and homeowners, to identify and qualify potential prospects
Present current product offerings and provide professional onsite presentations of company products and services
Identify and qualify new prospective customers through research, networking, and cold-calling
Manage job sites to ensure construction meets company specifications and all code requirements
Provide customers and prospects with continuous updates on product modifications, changes, and enhancements
Represent the company effectively at industry conferences and trade shows, where applicable
Maintain and update customer account records, including contact names and numbers for future sales opportunities
Prepare sales and marketing reports and maintain accurate expense accounts
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of sales experience selling into the construction industry, and or selling specialty products like elevators
Proven expertise in territory sales or a related role
Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and job sites simultaneously
Knowledge of construction processes and relevant code requirements
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
Ability to be on the road 75% of the time
