Wenger Corporation is actively seeking a
Territory Sales Manager
who resides in or near San Francisco/Oakland. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will contribute to Wenger Corporation’s strategy to provide an exceptional customer experience by proactively pursuing selling opportunities in the key strategic markets for a designated selling territory. This position’s territory includes Northern California. You will work with key customers such as District Administrators, End Users, Architects, General Contractors and Construction Managers to maximize sales in new construction, renovation and existing facility needs.

BachelorS degree preferred; specific industry experience or skill sets will be considered in lieu of degree.
Documented track record of successful selling.
Competitive, self-starter, with demonstrated ability to independently plan and implement an assigned territory sales strategy.
Demonstrated ability to be productive and comfortable working remotely from home office.
Demonstrated ability to deal effectively and professionally with all types of people and situations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM; Salesforce is preferred.
Proven ability to present in front of groups.
Key responsibilities
Manage territory through a CRM (Salesforce) program with timely and accurate updates.
Plan and coordinate sales trips in the assigned territory to maximize sales results.
Consult with customers on best solutions and optimize design strategies.
Review front-end bid documents.
Manage the selling process of identified territory projects and opportunities while effectively communicating internally and externally.
Sell the team product portfolio at established pricing and margins.
Develop and execute territory KPI business plans to achieve company initiatives.
Certify, schedule and present company-developed AIA accredited courses.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of company products, processes, markets, competitors, buying influences, customers, and customer processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Pursue new business development and achieve goals related to key or strategic product introductions and targeted promotions.
Coordinate sales pursuit activity across internal departments as required.
Establish and maintain a strong, well-qualified database of contacts and opportunities.
Liaise with Sales Management, Marketing and other internal delivery partners to provide input and feedback regarding products, programs and pricing.
