Territory Sales Manager

Renuity is experiencing growth and is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Territory Sales Manager to help grow and manage our newest home improvement department.

The Territory Sales Manager is a key member of the leadership team. While ultimately responsible for KPIs including: Net Sales, Average Sale and Closing Ratio, the TSM role is one of strategy and implementation. With 1 to 3 Field Sales Manager direct reports and 10 to 20 Consultants, the TSM directs the team to achieve its KPIs. This is done by hiring, training and retaining these team members and developing them to achieve their and the company's financial goals. Additionally, the TSM will work with the operations team to ensure that the client's experience is world-class in order to gain repeat and referral business.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, retain Design Consultants
  • Coordinating all performance improvement plans with sales teams
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team
  • Work with Consultants 1-on-1 to get necessary results
  • Conducting ride-along with sales representatives
  • Developing sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education
  • Developing field Sales Managers to be able to coach and develop their sales teams
  • Align with Corporate on KPIs
  • Create division strategy for hitting KPIs by identifying areas of improvement
  • Strategically plan new hiring classes based on business needs (i.e., new markets, hitting targets, replacing underperforming talent)

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of leading and developing in-home sales teams
  • Strong training skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including sales presentations
  • Commitment to high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change based on business needs
  • Must be able to travel within the assigned Territory weekly
  • A valid driver's license and proven safe driving record
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of sales
  • Prefer experience with opening new markets and launching new products
