Overview Title Sales Manager (Retail) Lennar Title. Must have a book of business to be considered. Candidate can sit anywhere in LA, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, or San Diego counties. We are Lennar Title, centered around personal growth, innovation, and diversity.
Responsibilities Manage the division ensuring escrow and related services through staff to maximize productivity and profitability.
Be responsible for carrying a book of business of $25-$30K/month in premiums.
Recruit, network, mentor, and coach all new and existing associates.
Gather and review business information pertinent to the division, such as reporting, market forecasting, and personal data.
Consult with senior leadership to obtain real estate and related business information.
Work with/monitor vendors providing pre-approved services; monitor vendor compliance, cost effectiveness, quality and timeliness of work; in smaller locations, manage a wider range of vendors including office management providers.
Track and monitor division expenses; may include office management duties.
Extensive experience in the title and escrow industry (residential, commercial, subdivisions, exchanges); strong supervisory, professional communication, and computer skills; prior management experience required; college-level management courses helpful.
Address a diverse range of problems of moderate scope; analyze situations/data considering current business trends; exercise judgment within defined practices and policies to determine objectives and approaches.
Receive assignments as objectives, establish goals, and allocate resources to meet schedules and goals.
Monitor product, project, or operational objectives, quality, schedules, and budgets.
Manage, supervise, and coordinate escrow personnel to ensure compliance with company policies and timely escrow procedures.
Regularly review quality of work; spot-check escrow files to ensure adherence to customer requests and company policies.
Assist customers by resolving complaints, expediting orders, and explaining procedures and pricing schedules.
Demonstrate strong process skills, attention to detail, computer skills, and customer service abilities.
Lead and seek input from others; manage competing priorities; drive complex project design, development, and execution.
Influence others in sensitive situations; communicate the functions vision and department direction; set aligned goals; provide resources and measurement systems.
Recruit, retain, and develop talent; hold employees accountable for results; lead change, manage conflict, and foster collaboration.
Drive customer loyalty, manage expectations, solicit feedback, and ensure commitments are met.
Collaborate with leaders to create and implement solutions to improve business effectiveness.
Requirements Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2-4 years of supervisory or management experience.
Demonstrated success establishing and maintaining effective working relationships at the Division level.
Notary Public; active title license strongly preferred.

Physical & Office Presence Requirements: Regular in-person attendance at company communities and offices during normal hours is essential; ability to work more than eight hours per day in a construction trailer; ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift/carry items over 50 pounds; occasional operation of construction equipment.
