Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/31/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – MS/Tele – Corrections Unit (Night Shift) Location: Columbus, OH Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Contract duration: 13 weks
Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Tele RN experience. Comfortable with a 1:4-5 patient ratio (MS); 1:3 (PCU). EPIC experience required Prior correctional or oncology experience preferred, not required. Certifications: BLS (Required) Other skills preferred: Chemotherapy administration, trach management, PCA, central line care. Skills & Competencies: IV Therapy & Phlebotomy (Peripheral & Central Line) Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response Respiratory Support (HFNC, CPAP/BiPAP, Nasal Cannula) Feeding Tube & Heparin Protocol Management Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Rapid response/code team activation Telemetry monitoring Compliance & Submission Requirements: Must hold a valid compact or Ohio state RN license at time of submission . 2 professional references required (1 from leadership: Manager/Supervisor/Charge RN). Must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately upon booking. RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included with submission. Former OSU employees must have a 6-month break to be eligible.
