About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Head of Sales for the Aero/Auto vertical. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business success by generating pipeline opportunities, managing an enterprise sales team, and securing new business sales. This role is pivotal in further developing new and growing sectors within the Aero/Auto vertical and requires a strategic vision to capitalize on dynamic market trends. The VP will be at the forefront of the sales process, leading and supporting the business development team, and ensuring the delivery of customer-facing presentations to drive pipeline growth. A strong understanding of the business and key commercial drivers is essential, as is the ability to manage all aspects of the sales performance model and provide actionable insights for the business development leaders.
To succeed in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 20 years of experience in sales leadership within the Aero/Auto or logistics markets, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth. Executive leadership skills, proficiency in sales reporting and project management tools, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and integrity are required. The role demands a leader with strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, who can effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in cross-selling, orchestrating new business development, and a successful history of achieving multi-million new sales targets are also key qualifications. The ideal candidate will be an advanced user of MS packages and CRM systems, with a preference for expertise in Salesforce, and will have a strong background in competitive intelligence and bid response strategy.
