Key responsibilities include leading and expanding the enterprise sales team, owning and exceeding revenue targets, and cultivating relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers at large enterprises.
Candidates for the VP of Enterprise Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of enterprise software sales leadership experience, with a strong background in selling complex, technical products to enterprise buyers. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally and influence product roadmap and go-to-market initiatives. Experience in both early-stage startups and scaling post-Series B+ organizations is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or developer platforms, and familiarity with open-source business models and developer-first sales motions.
