The Director will also be tasked with building and nurturing executive-level relationships, overseeing the full sales cycle, and ensuring operational excellence in sales initiatives.
Applicants for the Director of Sales and Marketing position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' sales leadership experience, preferably in SaaS software and EdTech. A deep understanding of the K-12 education landscape, including funding models and procurement processes, is essential. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, experience in managing multiple items in a fast-paced environment, and high proficiency in CRM systems and marketing automation platforms. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is also necessary, along with a data-driven approach to decision-making and excellent organizational skills.
