Job Title : Vice President of Sales and MarketingLocation : Washington, DC Metro AreaJob Type : Full-Time | ExemptCompensation : $160,000 - $170,000Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k)Vice President – Sales & MarketingThe Vice President of Sales & Marketing is a senior executive responsible for leading the organization’s efforts to develop, manage, and grow diversified revenue streams. This role oversees the creation and execution of strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance profitability, and support long-term customer engagement across the entire customer lifecycle. The position also directs marketing and communication initiatives to align with overall business objectives. It involves leadership and oversight of both the sales and marketing functions.This position requires a strong strategic mindset, broad business acumen, and a deep understanding of sales and marketing processes in service-driven organizations. Critical to success in this role is the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders—including clients, partners, suppliers, and internal leadership—to ensure business goals are consistently met.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOther duties may be assigned.Revenue Growth : Lead the development and execution of strategies to drive diversified and sustainable revenue growth across the enterprise.Customer Acquisition : Expand the organization’s customer base by identifying new markets and improving conversion rates through targeted sales and marketing initiatives.Customer Retention : Strengthen customer loyalty by ensuring excellent customer experiences and maintaining long-term relationships through the customer lifecycle.Sales & Marketing Leadership : Manage the sales and marketing teams to meet strategic goals. Provide training, support, and performance oversight. Establish organizational structures, processes, compensation plans, and strategic plans to support sales growth.CRM Utilization : Oversee effective use of CRM platforms to drive customer engagement, lead management, and business development initiatives.Proposal Development : Lead the development of competitive and customized responses to client requests, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, collaborating with internal subject matter experts.Data-Driven Strategy : Utilize analytics to identify opportunities, forecast revenue, and assess campaign performance. Translate data into actionable strategies to improve results.Market Intelligence : Monitor market trends and competitive positioning.
