As a fast-growing fintech company, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our sales organization and drive revenue growth. This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and will play a critical part in scaling our business.
What You’ll Do
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute a scalable, repeatable sales strategy aligned with PayNearMe’s growth objectives.
Identify new market opportunities, key customer segments, and expansion strategies to accelerate revenue growth.
Establish and manage a predictable and data-driven sales process, ensuring efficiency and high conversion rates.
Drive the adoption of structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger) to optimize deal execution.
Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous learning.
Implement best practices in sales coaching, performance management, and career development to retain top talent.
Set clear goals, KPIs, and incentive structures that align with company objectives and motivate the team.
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
Own and optimize the sales pipeline, forecasting, and revenue targets to ensure sustained growth.
Expand PayNearMe’s presence in key verticals and build strategic partnerships that drive long-term value.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Client Success to enhance demand generation, product positioning, and client retention.
Customer & Partner Engagement
Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key customers, industry stakeholders, and partners.
Ensure a seamless sales-to-customer experience, working closely with Client Success to drive adoption and retention.
Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to inform sales decisions and competitive positioning.

What We’re Looking For
10+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or payments.
Proven track record of scaling and leading high-performing sales teams and driving significant revenue growth.
Proven experience developing and executing successful GTM strategies and sales playbooks.
Strong knowledge of enterprise sales cycles, pipeline management, and forecasting.
Expertise in sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger) and process optimization.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze key metrics, identify trends, and drive strategic decisions.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with the ability to adapt and execute quickly.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Location & Travel
Remote (U.S.-based) with up to 40% travel for client meetings, industry events, and team engagements.
