About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Sales to spearhead the relaunch of its U.S. operations. This pivotal role demands a commercially driven leader with a background in neurosurgery, epilepsy, diagnostics, or capital equipment, and a strong focus on sales strategy, operations, and go-to-market planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for full P&L ownership of the U.S. commercial unit, executing a relaunch plan for products, developing territory plans, and managing U.S. KOL (Key Opinion Leader) relationships. The role also involves representing the U.S. operations in global growth discussions and requires a deep understanding of the subject matter, fostering trust with key personnel, and being perceived as the ambassador of the company.
The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Sales position at the company will have a proven track record in the relevant fields, be grounded in integrity, collaboration, and clinical fluency, and have experience with European organizations or M&A environments. The role offers a unique opportunity for visibility and influence within the neurosurgical ecosystem, with a focus on a respected brand, a loyal clinical customer base, and category-defining technologies. The candidate should be adept at creating a collegial atmosphere, with regular visitation and meetings being imperative, and should be prepared to be on a first-name basis with KOLs, with personal cell phone access as part of their references. The position is remote, near a major airport hub, and the candidate will be expected to lead a team of 6-10 reps and clinical specialists.
