About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of US SMB Sales to lead a team of Sales Managers and inside sales Account Executives. The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating strong leadership, managing activities with rigor, and ensuring accountability for plan achievement. This role involves developing and implementing strategic business plans, driving sales growth in the SMB market, and fostering a high-performing, customer-focused sales team. The VP will also be expected to have a deep understanding of the SMB software industry, including market trends and customer needs, and to work closely with marketing management to develop effective sales strategies.
To excel in this position, candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience in the SMB software industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. A proven track record in building and leading successful sales teams, strong business management skills, and proficiency in CRM usage are essential. The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects, drive results, and build strong cross-functional relationships. The ideal candidate will be adept at pipeline management, forecasting, and have a deep understanding of successful sales methodologies. Strong leadership, consensus-building, and quantitative analytical skills are also necessary for this role.
