About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Sales Development in Specialty Lab Solutions for the AM and EMEA regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales strategy and performance across six global zones, supporting go-to-market plans, and aligning sales initiatives with business needs. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in commercial management, particularly in the in vitro industry, and a strong background in both sales and marketing. The VP will be accountable for downstream strategy, managing business line performance, and supporting the definition of go-to-market strategies for distinct product lines. Key responsibilities also include enabling sales teams, facilitating market insights, and managing relationships with key opinion leaders and advisory boards.
Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in commercial management, with a preference for those with a strong marketing and sales background in the in vitro industry. A Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline is required, with a Master's degree preferred. The role demands a leader with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive alignment, and outcomes without direct authority, and a proven ability to present and communicate effectively at all levels. Experience in P&L management, leading diverse teams, and a background in C-level customer interactions and government authorities are essential. The ideal candidate will be a transformational change agent, with a growth mindset, and a proven ability to build and retain top talent in the organization.
