Overview Job Title: VP, Commercial Card Sales
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
This position is responsible for identifying and developing new commercial credit card business by cross-selling commercial payment solutions to the bank's existing commercial client base. The successful candidate will drive fee revenue by building relationships with internal teams including Unit Presidents, Relationship, Portfolio and Treasury Managers, along with Retail branch personnel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Actively engage with Relationship Managers, Portfolio and Treasury Managers to develop potential qualified commercial credit card target lists.
Meet with Unit Presidents to review performance matrices and strategically plan to develop additional opportunities.
Conduct in-person or telephone sales with bank client CEOs and business owners; close activities by submitting completed and properly signed credit card applications into the bank's processing system. Influence growth in card usage through the sales process.
Attend and participate in unit product partner and sales meetings; provide updates on opportunities and obtain new leads for follow-up.
Provide product demos in-person or via webinar to potential commercial card clients.
Provide sales and product training to Retail staff and support selling departments and branches.
Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Thorough knowledge of bank policies, procedures, compliance and banking regulations.

Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Personal transportation capable of visiting customer sites and bank branches, if necessary.
Flexibility, versatility, commitment and good judgment in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to travel regionally within Arizona.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Minimum of three years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
Minimum of seven years of experience selling commercial card products.

Microsoft Office Suite
Google Suite
IBS
CRM, preferably Salesforce
