Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing teams. This executive role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth, enhance brand presence, and improve customer engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in B2B sales, marketing, and technology sales; cross border experience, english/spanish language, comfortable with travel within US and Mexico a plus. 4-year business degree and 10 years experience preferred.
Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with the company's goals.
Lead outside sales initiatives to expand market reach and increase customer acquisition.
Oversee the management of the sales team, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Drive business development efforts to identify new market opportunities and partnerships.
Manage key accounts and ensure exceptional customer service to foster long-term relationships.
Utilize ZOHO for tracking sales performance, analyzing data trends, and reporting on key metrics.
Lead the marketing team to create effective campaigns that promote products and services.
Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
Negotiate contracts with clients to maximize profitability.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the sales and marketing team.
Skills
Proven experience in outside sales with a strong track record in B2B sales environments.
Demonstrated management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Expertise in services and/or technology sales. Proposal / RFP responses and target marketing campaigns.
Proficient in CRM platforms for managing customer relationships.
Strong negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals successfully.
Excellent business development capabilities to identify growth opportunities.
Effective account management skills to maintain strong client relationships.
Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and making informed decisions.
Exceptional leadership qualities that inspire teams towards achieving common goals.
