About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Overlay Digital Sales for AWS. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the client base within the AWS practice. This role involves close collaboration with sales teams, leveraging the ability to identify opportunities, understand client needs, and develop tailored solutions with compelling value propositions. The VP will also be accountable for the Amazon Connect bookings number, driving GTM activities, and actively managing the bookings outlook. A key aspect of the role is to partner with practice leadership and the partner/vendor ecosystem to drive a creative pipeline channel strategy.
Applicants for this role should have a proven track record in account management or sales, with at least 10 years' experience in an enterprise space, including 8 years in a quota-retiring and/or sales role. A deep understanding of the Amazon Connect platform and adjacent technologies is essential, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in this area. The ideal candidate will have experience in design-led thinking, strategy, and client vision/account management approaches, as well as the ability to work in a matrixed organization with multiple sellers and products. The role requires a motivated individual who is ready to drive growth and is adept at forecasting, managing client close plans, and developing GTM materials and documentation.
