About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Sales for the Broadband Solutions division to lead the sales organization in driving profitable growth within the North American broadband and telecommunications market. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the company's strategy into effective execution, ensuring the sales team is well-structured, resourced, and directed to meet business plan requirements. This pivotal role involves proactively driving sales initiatives, owning sales targets, and leading a high-performance sales organization to deliver revenue growth in existing and new accounts. The VP Sales will also be instrumental in strategic planning, and execution of sales plans, and will be expected to have a strong technical affinity to operate within the broadband solutions platform.
Candidates for this role should be educated to degree level in business, marketing, or engineering, or have a proven track record in a relevant professional career. A successful history in sales leadership, including experience in sustaining sales growth across multiple countries, is essential. The role requires the ability to operate in a matrixed environment, manage through change, and develop sales team performance. Strong communication, presentation skills, and the ability to build long-term, value-adding relationships with customers and channel partners are also key attributes. The VP Sales will be expected to coach the sales team, coordinate business development activities, and lead contract negotiations with strategic accounts.
