One of Montana's largest ranch and feed supply retailers and distributors is hiring a Warehouse Sales Associate for their Miles City location. This person will be detail oriented and adept at multitasking to help coordinate the receiving, handling, storing, picking and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. Essential Job Responsibilities: Ensure the warehouse is operating at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction as the primary goal Assist in managing the warehouse to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short-and long-term performance goals as well as exceed the expectations of our customers. Help customers load items into their vehicles and help load delivery trucks Assist with daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics Daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service Sell company products and services and handle all types of financial transactions Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to company standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations

Why you want this position:  Starting wage: $19 – $24/hour DOE Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (no weekends) This position can be full-time or part-time Medical benefits (partial employer paid) and 401(k) PTO & Paid Holidays

Required Skills & Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old and have a current Driver’s License High school diploma or equivalent Proficiency with or the ability to learn warehouse procedures and policies Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with all levels of company staff Good communication and computer skills Proficiency with or ability to learn Point of Sale and ordering applications and policies Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time and to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb up and down ladders and to see well, with or without vision correction

Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Sales and/or retail experience preferred Warehouse experience and/or agricultural background a plus Experience operating a forklift and/or the willingness to learn/be certified on company forklifts
