Tasks and Responsibilities • Translates the Division’s growth strategy, segment targets, and its sales and profitability goals into effective sales programs. • Builds and maintains strategic relationships with customers, trade allies, key influencers and decision makers (e.g.,agents, brokers, consultants, property managers, and/or decision makers in finance, accounting, operations, or facility management). • Develops and executes sales strategies to maintain and increase profitability and market share. • Directs actions that will provide a low-effort, high-satisfaction customer experience that meets the operational and business expectations of each customer consistent with Division target. • Manages additional sales opportunities to cross sell additional products and services to prospective clients as well as existing customers. • Uses a strategic, data-driven approach to identify, develop and measure sales programs and activities. • Collaborates with the Marketing Analytics and Marketing teams to ensure that the market data and marketing tools these teams produce are relevant and actionable to the Sales Department and its customers. • Resolves customer disputes. • Manages the work of the Sales Department staff, including hiring, evaluating, training, performance management, compensating, motivating, coaching, and developing goals and procedures to ensure the achievement of goals. Qualifications, Skills and Abilities • Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Business Administration or related field • Industry (retail energy sales) experience required • 7+ Years progressive experience in business development and sales management • 2-4 Years supervisory or team leadership experience • Successful track record building and coaching high-performance sales or business development teams. • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and analyze multiple scenarios in solving broadly defined or complex business problems. • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex messages to diverse audiences at all organization levels. • Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office, to share, retrieve, research and present business information. • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors, subordinates, and peers. We offer a competitive salary range of $106,000 to $154,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
