Throughout the 9-week paid Client Service & Support internship, there will be inspiring opportunities that welcome you into the Schwab culture and immerse you into your role. The interactive internship program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, volunteering in the community, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths!
Our Client Service internship program follows our curriculum - Collaboration, Academic, Real-world Education & Experience, Roundtables & Shadowing. Real-world Education & Experience puts you on actual client support calls with Schwab clients, learning what it means to exceed client expectations. As you embody exceptional client service, you will engage in team building activities specific to your Service cohort, leverage personal development resources, participate in a simulated trading competition using our internal trading platform, learn more about financial services and the requirements to be in our industry, and make a final presentation to internal stakeholders.

What you have

Required Qualifications
Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program
Have enough credit hours to put you at a junior level status at a 4-year college or university
Have not already completed your bachelor's degree
Able and willing to relocate at your own expense if relocation is needed
Ability to work full time and be on-site at one of the Schwab locations during the 9-week program (June 8, 2026 to August 7, 2026)
Able to start full time employment during business hours between August 2026 - September 2027
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong desire to explore a career at Schwab by beginning in a Financial Services professional role post-graduation
Passion for learning about the Financial Services Industry and helping investors with their wealth management needs
Ability and desire to network by taking a client-focused sales approach
Optimism with keen sense of purpose, awareness, and knowledge
Resourcefulness and flexibility, who enjoy working through cross-functional partnerships and collaboration to achieve a common purpose
Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal business partners
