This 6-month rotational program is designed to prepare new college graduates for success as Field Sales Engineers . Participants will rotate across two corporate sites and engage in a structured curriculum that blends real-world experience with professional development.
Program Components Shadowing: Learn directly from experienced FSEs through customer meetings, account reviews, and strategic planning sessions. Projects: Contribute to live sales initiatives, including customer engagement strategies, competitive analysis, and product positioning. Simulations: Participate in mock sales scenarios to practice objection handling, value-based selling, and technical presentations. Training Classes: Attend structured sessions on sales tools, CRM systems, product portfolios, and market dynamics. Self-Led Learning: Access curated resources to deepen understanding of onsemi’s technologies and customer segments. Support sales growth through both commercial and technical engagement with customers Collaborate with FAEs and business units to align product offerings with customer needs Assist in account strategy development and execution Participate in customer meetings, product demos, and technical presentations Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform sales tactics Performance Objectives Expand onsemi’s presence as a strategic partner with key accounts Build strong relationships across sales, marketing, and engineering teams Contribute to regional sales plans and customer engagement strategies Help identify new opportunities and drive adoption of next-generation solutions
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills Interest in customer-facing roles and technical sales Willingness to relocate for rotation assignments and flexibility for final deployment location Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with CRM tools (., Salesforce) Basic understanding of electronic components and systems Experience with technical presentations or customer-facing projects
