Job Summary: Comcast Business is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive 3 to drive growth in new markets by developing territories and selling our strategic products and managed solutions. This role is responsible for acquiring and managing mid-market and enterprise-level, multi-location commercial customers through both direct and partner channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled relationship builder, and expert in complex solution selling.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Territory Strategy & Development: Develops and executes strategic plans for assigned sales territory, including identifying and cultivating local partnerships, organizational affiliations, and strategic business opportunities.
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively researches and generates new business leads through cold calling, canvassing, referrals, and partner relationships. Actively promotes and positions the Comcast Business brand within the territory.
  • Partner & Stakeholder Engagement: Builds strong relationships and ensures alignment and regular communication with key go-to-market partners to drive collaboration and sales success.
  • Sales Presentations & Solution Selling: Creates and delivers compelling, in-person sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing deep knowledge of Comcast Business products and services. Sells with the goal of exceeding financial and unit targets.
  • Market & Competitive Awareness: Maintains a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to effectively position Comcast Business solutions in the marketplace.
  • Customer Experience & Retention: Ensures a superior customer experience by delivering on the Comcast Credo. Builds long-term relationships to drive customer satisfaction and retention, working cross-functionally to meet and exceed service expectations.
  • Sales Reporting & CRM Management: Maintains accurate sales records and prepares regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
  • Client Engagement & Communication: Regularly meets with clients in the field, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting, persuading, and negotiating.
  • Technical Acumen: Demonstrates working knowledge of:
    • Network Design, SD-WAN, and Network Security
    • MAN technologies (WDM, Ethernet, Internet)
    • Voice Network Technologies (VoIP)
    • Data Networking (LAN, MAN, WAN, VPN)
    • Networking Protocols (Layers 1-3)
    • Customer Premise Equipment (voice & data)
    • Cybersecurity and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery concepts
  • Professionalism & Flexibility: Exercises independent judgment and discretion in significant matters. Maintains regular, punctual attendance and is available to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
  • Other Duties: Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications, IT, or managed services.
  • Proven track record of success in selling complex, multi-product solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Salary: Primary Location Pay Range: $69,657.00 - $116,095.00. Additional Range: This job can be performed in New York with a Pay Range of $66,174.15 - $145,118.75. Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later. Targeted Commission: $65,000. Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
