We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to focus on generating new business through strategic cold outreach, innovative sales techniques, and value-based selling. Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Sales Strategies:Create and implement a strategic sales plan for your assigned territory, prioritizing new business opportunities and market expansion.
Daily Cold Outreach:Perform high-volume outbound calls and emails to identify, qualify, and engage prospective customers.
Present Innovative Solutions:Deliver compelling web-based and in-person presentations to educate prospects about Birdseyes innovative security solutions.
Drive New Business:Consistently generate and convert leads into new customers, focusing on long-term relationships and sustainable growth.
Collaborate Cross- Functionally:Partner with internal teams on pricing, supplier selection, and crafting strategic sales approaches tailored to each prospects needs.
Value-Based Selling:Translate customer challenges into incremental revenue opportunities by leveraging consultative selling techniques.
Pipeline Management:Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the companys CRM, ensuring an organized pipeline and timely follow-up.
Forecast and Report:Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts and contribute insights during weekly sales meetings.
Industry Engagement:Represent Birdseye at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote innovative security solutions and expand the customer base.
Multitask with Urgency:Manage multiple leads and projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on delivering results.
Required Qualifications:
Proven Sales Expertise:4+ years of outside sales experience (transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry preferred) with a track record of exceeding targets.
Hunter Mentality:Self-motivated, resilient, and proactive in driving new business through cold outreach and networking.
Strategic Thinker:Ability to craft creative, outside-the-box solutions to meet customer needs and close deals.
Sales Process Proficiency:Strong understanding of the full sales cycle and value-based selling techniques.
Adaptability:Agile in responding to client needs and market changes while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach.
Presentation and Negotiation Skills:Confident in delivering polished presentations and navigating complex negotiations.
Tech-Savvy:Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to use digital tools effectively for prospecting and pipeline management.
Team-Oriented Attitude:Collaborative, supportive, and eager to contribute to a high-performing sales team.
Education:Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
