We are hiring a full-time creative, results oriented outside sales Account Manager in the Ontario / Fontana CA area. The territory geography is East of I-5 to Riverside, south of I-210 to Santa Ana. The territory includes Fontana, Ontario, Whittier, Anaheim, Yorba Linda, Glendale. The customer base is as diverse as our product line and includes agriculture, manufacturing, food and beverage, municipalities, government agencies and more.

What you'll do: Achieve sales and profit goals by developing existing customers, opening new business, and customer retention
Conduct sales and service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products, services, engineered solutions
Partner with manufacturer reps and our support team to help spec in products / systems that will enhance customer performance
Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up and negotiate terms, and close transactions
Organize and conduct training sessions for customers, survey market and competitive conditions
Complete reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls, leads and other related reports
Monitor customer complaints, follow up on outstanding orders, and make emergency calls and deliveries as required
Qualifications: 3+year proven industrial outside sales experience
Fluid power components and/or mobil equipment, systems, &/or applications knowledge is preferred
Basic computer skills, including Excel
Ability to open new business, develop relationships
Mechanical aptitude, self starter with a strong desire to succeed, & sense of humor
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed and physical ability to meet with customers in their locations/environment. 90% of the time in front of customers, opening new business as well as developing existing accounts.
Written and verbal communication skills including English grammar
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record (MVR)
Fluid Power certification is a plus
In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year depending on experience, including potential incentive bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts are tied to company, territory and individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed. All full-time associates are eligible for typical employment benefits expected from an industry leader (including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, life insurance, time off, employee assistance, etc.).
