The Americas Sales Director will drive sales strategies focusing on maximizing revenue and market share for our properties. This role requires a sales leader with strong industry knowledge who can manage high-performing teams, build key client relationships, and adapt strategies to regional market needs while aligning with the company's global vision. Responsibilities Lead and execute the proactive sales strategy across North, Central, and South America, including Canada, to drive demand and expand market presence. Develop and manage key relationships with luxury travel networks, corporate agencies, entertainment groups, and other priority segments. Represent the portfolio at trade shows, roadshows, and sales missions to increase visibility and strengthen brand positioning. Partner with the VP of Commercial and property sales leaders to define and implement regional growth strategies. Launch and oversee outbound sales initiatives, providing hands-on support to local sales teams when needed. Facilitate alignment and coordination of sales efforts across the portfolio, ensuring streamlined account management and communication. Lead the execution of multi-property activations and joint initiatives to maximize market impact. Monitor competitive activity and emerging market opportunities to position the portfolio advantageously. Ensure the portfolio maintains a strong presence in priority markets, consistently driving engagement and capturing market share. Miscellaneous Ad-hoc analysis reports as necessary Develop strategic action plans for hotels to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue. Work with individual hotel teams to identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales resources. Attending hotel meetings/staff meetings/business review/required training as needed. Required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs of hotel. Always maintain a professional attitude and appearance. Have knowledge of, understand, and adheres to all employee standards. Notifies immediate superiors promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards. Complies with required safety regulations and procedures. Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area. Complies with all hotel standards, policies, and rules. Remains current with hotel information and changes. Other duties/projects as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications: College degree in Hospitality Management or related equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of proven Senior Sales Manager or Director of Sales experience in a hotel. Strong leadership, managerial, and communication skills. Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally. Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in luxury hotel brand. Familiarity with statistical reports. Experience in budget strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting and negotiating. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. A thorough understanding of Hotel Operations, either through education or through prior work experience. Agile in multi-tasking and able to make sound decisions based on available information. Travel will be required as needed. Must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, if required. Physical Requirements Able to sit for extended periods. Periodical bending and kneeling Occasionally required to push, pull, move, carry and lift at least 10 lbs of force. Must be able to seize, grasp, turn, write, type and hold objects with hands.
