Ensure a visually appealing display by checking product quality, maintaining cleanliness, rotating stock, filling ice tables and performing other assigned tasks. Maintain accurate department signage and pricing. Organize and maintain back stock in good condition. Contribute to a safe, clean and well-organized working environment. Support sampling programs and keep sample areas clean and full. Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors and drains as required. Prepare, smoke or cook fish; package, label and date cooked products. Assist with periodic inventory checks. Be punctual, well-groomed and ready to work; adhere to scheduled shifts and attend required training sessions. Deliver exceptional customer service, address customer needs promptly and model effective sales techniques. Maximize sales potential through effective prepping, storing, rotating, stocking and merchandising procedures. Adhere to established procedures for weights and measures, health and safety, and safe work practices. Perform opening, mid and closing duties as assigned; ensure accuracy of signs and pricing.
