Regional Director of Sales – General Manager
Your Focuses
Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and HHM core values.
Use internal and external resources and data to develop strategic plans that incorporate all business segments.
Understand sales and business processes, support corporate and hotel goals, and contribute to enhancing customer value.
Identify customer business requirements and craft customer offers, resulting in increased revenue share for the hotel.
Monitor achievement of sales team objectives and take corrective actions for shortfalls versus the annual marketing plan.
Focus on personal sales efforts to maximize revenue from key accounts.
Aim to achieve annual hotel revenue goals as per the established budget.
Maintain relationships with key accounts to increase customer satisfaction and revenue.
Use professional sales techniques to negotiate favorable terms satisfying customer requirements.
Articulate and leverage the hotel's benefits to close sales opportunities.
Develop and maintain a current annual marketing plan with measurable initiatives for each business segment.
Lead by example, modeling effective selling techniques and supporting the development of others.
Seek input from relevant parties and make informed decisions.
Create effective presentations to clearly communicate ideas and recommendations.
Travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel, and review competitors.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Your Background and Skills
Four-year college degree required; advanced coursework in business administration, marketing, or communications is a plus.
Previous sales experience in a comparable hotel size and scope is required; operations experience is preferred.
Public relations and community marketing experience are required.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Delphi, and access database tools.

Work schedule may vary and include holidays and weekends.
Must be able to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds, and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching.
Moderate travel between hotel and client locations required.

The salary range for this role is $135,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience in the hospitality industry.
