Are you a proactive and enthusiastic sales professional eager to showcase your exceptional sales skills? Our next area sales manager needs to understand the local market and trends to develop creative strategies that drive sales for INSURANCE PRODUCTS throughout Youngstown and surrounding areas. We are looking for an analytical thinker who can devise innovative ways to exceed sales targets and profit margins. We need a confident sales pro with excellent communication skills to maintain ongoing relationships with key clients while also prospecting new customers through outreach and networking.


Our ideal candidate should have at least a year of experience managing sales, preferably in the financial industry. No cold calling, no door-to-door, and no lead purchases.

Work from the office or home.

Compensation:

$62,000 at plan yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Keep an accurate log of sales databases, client reports, bookkeeping records, and more to share progress toward goals with key stakeholders
  • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs
  • Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied
  • Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales
Qualifications:
  • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial
  • Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory
  • Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole
  • Job seekers must already have or be willing to get an insurance license
