Our model blends flexible corporate housing with short-term vacation rentals, offering high-end apartments and homes to both business travelers and leisure guests. We handle all reservations, pricing, guest communication, and service delivery directly, and we rely on smart operationsnot bloated headcountto get it done. Weve built systems that work. Now we need a hands-on operator to help run themand eventually lead them. About the Role Were hiring an Assistant GM / Operations Lead to support day-to-day operations, coordinate cleanings and guest needs, resolve on-site issues, and help manage our remote support team. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk role. Youll regularly: Be in the field, visiting properties and vendors Handle urgent situations (lockouts, damage, guest concerns) Fix problems onceso they dont come up again Keep the CEO focused on growth by owning daily operations You wont be managing the entire team right away. This role requires someone who will earn that trust by being reliable, flexible, and respectful of the systems already in place. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Oversee and track cleanings, turnovers, and maintenance workflows Coordinate guest issue resolutionquickly and professionally Be physically present when needed: inspect cleanings, meet vendors, handle escalations Support and follow up with virtual team members (cleaners, VAs, vendors) Identify recurring problems and implement fixesno band-aid solutions Work weekends only if issues werent solved the first time Use tools effectivelywe play with software but dont rely on any single one What Were Looking For 3+ years of experience in hospitality, short-term rentals, or operations Based on the Eastside/Seattleyou know the area and can move quickly when needed Youve handled property-level issues personallynot just via vendors Youre calm under pressure and keep others calm too You dont need to rebuild the system to feel usefulyou observe first, then improve Youre resourceful, responsible, and ready to grow into a senior role Youre tech-comfortable and love working with dynamic teams Compensation & Growth Starting Salary: $60,000$75,000 (contract during trial) Seasonal Pay Scaling: Higher rates during peak season (JuneSept), leaner in winter Bonus: Up to $10,000 annually based on performance PTO & Childcare Support: Negotiable after promotion No relocation, insurance, or healthcare included Clear Growth Path Stage Timeline Role Trial 03 months Contract Earn trust with hands-on results Promotion 36 months to Assistant GM Run day-to-day operations Full Ownership 612 months General Manager Free up the CEO completely How to Apply Message us with: Your resume A short note explaining how youve handled a real property or guest issue personally Why you're interested in corporate housing and hybrid hospitality What makes you someone who improves systems without disrupting teams This is a rare opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role while learning every part of the business from the inside.
