Shukette, led by Chef/Partner Ayesha Nurdjaja - a 2022 James Beard Award finalist - is looking for an Assistant General Manager! 

This position requires daytime hours, evening hours and weekends with FULL TIME AVAILABILITY.

The exciting Chelsea restaurant Shukette has been heralded by The NY Times for its "extroverted, generous spirit" and an approach to Middle Eastern Cooking that is long "overdue in New York." Shukette has been recognized as one of the top new restaurants in the city. We focus on responsibly and locally sourced ingredients with a nod to seasonality. Chef Ayesha Nurdjaja brings an exciting and dynamic take on some of her favorite dishes inspired by her extensive travels.

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for providing leadership in FOH Operations consistent with Restaurant strategy and the direction of the General Manager and Director of Operations. The AGM must effectively control scheduling and labor costs, train and educate staff, maintain consistency of service quality and standards, manage ordering and inventory, and contribute to the maintenance of shared facilities and equipment.
