The Assistant Restaurant General Manager (ARGM) plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, particularly in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager (RGM). This position is crucial for ensuring compliance with company standards and delivering exceptional quality products and services to our guests. As a successful ARGM, you will have the opportunity to: Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively. Engage positively with guests, ensuring their satisfaction. Assist the RGM in recruiting, hiring, developing, and motivating team members while managing work schedules. Maintain a safe and comfortable work environment for both employees and customers, ensuring cleanliness and good working conditions of equipment. Oversee the proper storage, handling, preparation, and presentation of ingredients and menu items, always prioritizing food safety. Manage various administrative responsibilities to support restaurant operations. Key Requirements: Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Ability to read, write, and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong skills in fostering a positive team atmosphere and offering growth and development opportunities. Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory. Physical Demands/Working Conditions: This position requires frequent standing and walking, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members. Tasting and smelling food items are also essential. Hand-eye coordination is important for handling, feeling, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally, the role may involve sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Vision requirements include peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to cooking fumes is occasional, and the work environment is generally moderately noisy.
