Assistant Sales Manager & Trainer
Location: Kent, Wa (on-site)

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 + future growth opportunities at the company.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts; weekends as needed


About the Role
Closets by Design is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Assistant Sales Manager & Trainer to support our growing sales team. Key Responsibilities
In partnership with the Sales Manager, you will:

  • Help oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department
  • Support team accountability, drive sales performance, and report concerns to leadership
  • Assist in follow-up strategy and individual coaching to maximize team results
  • Lead training sessions and provide supplemental coaching as needed
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both prospective and existing clients
  • Stay current on product knowledge, design tools, and industry trends
  • Embrace continuous learning and help foster a positive, professional team culture

What Were Looking For
  • Experience in sales leadership, team training, or assistant management
  • Enjoy motivating and coaching others toward their goals
  • Confident and clear communication skills with both staff and clients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Strong desire to learn the full sales and design process
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in follow-through
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of sales and/or customer service experience (preferred)
  • Prior training or assistant management experience is a plus
  • Ability to commute reliably to Kent, WA (or planning to relocate)
