Overview Verizon is a leading technology company that connects people and businesses through innovative solutions. This role leads a sales team in Verizon Enterprise Solutions, focusing on bringing in new large enterprise accounts and crafting service solutions across professional services, outsourcing, end-to-end communications, mobility and network services, hosting, cloud services, and security solutions. What you’ll be doing Lead and develop a team of five to nine sales professionals to acquire new large enterprise customers. Coach and mentor direct reports to target and close new business, solving complex client challenges with integrated solutions. Craft service solutions by combining elements from professional services, outsourcing, communications, mobility, cloud, hosting, and security. Forecast sales, set quotas, monitor progress, anticipate resource needs, and plan work for the team. Mentor team members on articulating business value and building executive-level relationships. Support ongoing skill building through training and targeted assignments and assist in consultative selling to meet customer needs and negotiate/close deals. What we’re looking for You are an effective and inspiring leader who can engage and motivate a team to deliver outstanding performance. You should be comfortable in a multifaceted environment, balance competing demands, and establish credibility with the c-suite. You should be energized by developing the next generation of sales leaders while pursuing large accounts. When negotiating, you balance customer needs with Verizon goals to achieve a win-win outcome. You’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Eight or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training. Experience selling technical enterprise solutions. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Experience selling to c-suite executives. History of meeting or exceeding meaningful sales targets, preferably with new customers. Experience leading a high-performance team. Familiarity with enterprise-wide solutions that include IP networking, cloud, security, mobility, professional or outsourced services, or related solutions. Ability to establish compelling business cases, value propositions, and proposals. Where you’ll be working In this mobile role, you’ll primarily work from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings. The salary range for this role is location-based and depends on skills and experience; this is a commission-based position with potential to earn more. For part-time roles, compensation is adjusted to reflect hours. The full-time annual salary range listed is: $149,500.00 - $260,300.00.
