We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Health team at SS&C. This role is one of the first touch points for prospects and plays a critical part in generating new business opportunities. You’ll engage with inbound and outbound prospects, qualify opportunities, and partner with the sales team to move accounts forward.
We’re especially interested in candidates who bring prior SDR/AE experience or a background in the healthcare/benefits/retirement/insurance industries—though these are not strict requirements. If you’re motivated, coachable, and eager to build a career in sales, you could be a strong fit.

What You Will Get To Do:
Learn and become an expert across our portfolio
Make proactive outbound calls to identify new prospects and generate sales opportunities.
Understand prospect needs through active listening and effective discovery questions.
Provide qualified opportunities to the field sales team.
Research accounts, update CRM records, and ensure all prospect interactions are documented.
Shadow sales calls and demos to gain deeper product and industry knowledge.
Collaborate across teams to ensure a smooth sales process and strong client experience.
What You Will Bring:
Preferred: Prior SDR/AE experience .
I ndustry experience in healthcare, specifically health plans and pharmacy entities .
A genuine curiosity to learn about the health and financial services industries.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport.
Coachability and openness to feedback with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
BA/BS required .
