Position Summary
As an Associate Sales Representative, you will act as the primary customer contact for demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting TruMed products as led by the VP of Sales. In this role you will provide current and comprehensive technical knowledge of TruMed's products and effectively communicate the efficiencies and economic benefits of the products. As a sales associate you are expected to achieve territory sales by performing Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies, which includes delivering branded sales messages, executing planned programs, scheduling and following-up achieving or exceeding sales targets. Representatives are also responsible for servicing and managing accounts, which includes ensuring product access, resolving/triage issues, and renewing product contracts. Attend local/national tradeshows and internal meetings. Assist or lead product installs and training. Additional responsibilities involve providing feedback on marketing strategy and effectiveness reviews of sales activities and territory analysis, in addition to developing territory plans with your Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
Prospect and contact potential customers
Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
What is expected of you for success in your role: Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within assigned territory
Manage and or participate in regional and national tradeshows and conferences
Identify and develop sales opportunities by frequently cold calling throughout territory
Report on sales activity and results (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)
Present our products and services to prospective customers
Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions
Answer customer questions about features, pricing and additional services
Collaborate with sales representatives from different territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree
Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience
Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Organizational and leadership ability
Problem-solving aptitude
Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and solve customers’ needs
Well-organized with demonstrated practice of appropriate follow-up
Ability to work well with other people, both externally and internally
Proven written communication skills

Work Environment Work requires business travel (up to 75%) and willingness to work a flexible schedule
