Reporting to the Group President, Originations, this position manages a sales team of Account Executives who are responsible for mortgage loan originations through a call center model. This position drives loan production by implementing sales strategies, optimizing lead conversions and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company guidelines. This role manages pipeline efficiency, monitors key performance metrics and partners with internal teams to streamline the loan origination process.
This position is responsible for maintaining a high performing sales team through leadership, coaching and process improvements, driving loan production, enhancing sales strategies and team effectiveness to achieve overall business objectives. Additionally, this role creates and administers ongoing training programs for the Account Executive team, ensuring consistent sales practices, product knowledge and awareness of current market conditions.
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience is highly preferred. High School Diploma/ GED required
5+ years’ experience in mortgage sales and operations
3+ years’ experience managing people and leading teams highly preferred
Proven ability to manage inside sales teams and drive loan production
Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in loan origination systems, CRM platforms, and sales technology tools
Strong project management skills
Strong skills and experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
