Warm SMB leads + paid onboarding. Run discovery/demos and close local accounts. OTE $50–90k+.

Seeking an outside sales professional to secure and manage SMB/SME accounts in the technology and telecommunications sectors. The role centers on converting warm and hot leads, overseeing the full customer lifecycle, and growing revenue within a defined Kansas City territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute outside B2B sales activities to convert warm/hot leads, deliver product demonstrations, and move prospects through discovery meetings.
  • Prepare tailored proposals and straightforward tiered offerings, and obtain clear next steps during calls.
  • Manage post-sale engagement to drive product adoption, identify upsell opportunities, and support retention.
  • Maintain an active CRM pipeline: record activities, generate forecasts, and report outcomes.
  • Work with technical and product teams to craft solutions that address client needs.
  • Track market trends and client feedback to refine territory strategy; focus corridors include downtown, Crossroads, and light industrial parks.

Qualifications:

  • Proven B2B sales experience; background in technology or telecommunications preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and account management, with strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales-enablement tools and a data-driven approach to KPIs, pipeline metrics, and forecasting.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation is commission-based with paid onboarding/training and performance bonuses. Typical annual earnings are generally $50,000 to $90,000+ depending on performance and territory.
